On May 7, 2024, the "Shanghai International Arbitration Center Seminar," co-hosted by the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center), the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (UNCITRAL RCAP), and the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center (SHIAC Hong Kong), was successfully held in Hong Kong during the 26th International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Congress. As part of the official agenda of the ICCA Congress, the seminar focused on the theme "Focusing on the East: Confidentiality, Transparency, and Sustainability in International Arbitration," attracting nearly 300 professionals from the global international arbitration community to share insights and knowledge.

On May 4, 2024, the Permanent China Construction Engineering Legal Forum 2024 Hong Kong Forum, themed "Engineering Dispute Resolution: International Perspectives and China's Development," was held at the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center, located on the 25th floor of 8 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong. The event was co-hosted by the Permanent China Construction Engineering Legal Forum and the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center), attracting over 60 legal experts in construction arbitration from 30 jurisdictions.

On May 8, 2024, the inaugural themed event of the "Shanghai-Hong Kong International Arbitration Lounge," titled "Mainland Investment and SPV Dispute Resolution Strategies," was successfully held at the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center. The event was organized by the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center, the Hong Kong Bar Association, and Guohao Law Firm, with the Shanghai International Arbitration Center serving as a supporting institution. More than 80 representatives from businesses and senior lawyers from Mainland China and Hong Kong attended the event.
