On May 7, 2024, the event "SHIAC HK Roundtable: Best Practices for Compliance and Risk Control for Chinese Enterprises Going Global," organized by the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center and jointly supported by the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center) and the Legal Affairs Department of the Central People's Government Liaison Office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, was successfully held in Hong Kong. Representatives from the legal and business sectors in Hong Kong and Shanghai participated in the event.

On April 26, 2024, the "Invest in Shanghai • Share the Future" Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, organized by the Shanghai Municipal Government, was held in Hong Kong. Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee jointly officiated the unveiling of the Shanghai International Arbitration (Hong Kong) Center.

On September 25, 2024, the fourth Seminar of the International Commercial Expert Committee of the Supreme People's Court and the activity of the renewal (additional) of the expert members were held in Beijing, where the participating experts discussed the fair and efficient settlement of international commercial disputes. Mr. Wang Weijun, Secretary-General of Shanghai International Arbitration Center, attended the meeting as the first international arbitration institution to participate in the one-stop dispute resolution platform of the International Commercial Court of the Supreme Court

On the afternoon of September 18, 2024, more than 60 students from the Faculty of Law of the University of Leuven, Belgium, visited the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai COAC") for a visit and exchange. Li Tingwei, senior director of the Research Department of Shanghai COAC, received them. The visiting student team was led by Yang Jiancheng and Dong Xiaoyang from the Law School Training Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
